Paper Cities
An archive of unbuilt buildings needed an identity that could hold drawings from six decades without flattening them. We built the system around a single grid that the drawings sit inside rather than a style they get dressed in.
A grid, not a style
The collection spans sixty years of drawing conventions. Any identity strong enough to unify them visually would have overwritten them. We built a grid and a hierarchy instead, and let the drawings keep their own voices.
